I had a succesful trade show at AIS in Solihull last week. Met loads of current customers and made some new ones! Also have some dynamic new friends that were co-exhibitors, every show adds to my network of great characters. I love doing the trade shows, catching up with old customers, finding new ones and meeting old friends. I do get a bit tired of hearing my own voice though! (I’m sure they do too!) Amanda
Part 2 The Jewel Collection Here we go! Lulu arrives first to prep all the looks, making sure we have everything we need. We have had an exciting day today at Fizbag, the first prototype of our new vintage collection range of bags has arrived and its looking good!!! A couple of tweaks here and there and I’ve got a strong feeling we are onto another winner! Don’t want to let too much out of the bag (ha ha) at the moment but we hope to launch the range in September…watch this space. Amanda
I have just been to a lecture by Jersey Enterprise (States of Jersey Economic Development) about the importance of communicating with your customers through blogs, facebook, twitter etc. It was well worth while and has given me new enthusiam and the confidence to get stuck in. Although I am a Facebook “virgin” I must admit I can see why people get addicted to it. You’ll be hearing lots more about what’s happening at Fizbag from now on…. Amanda
We have had some professional lifestyle photos done by Danny Evans (freelance photographer that shoots for Gallery Magazine Jersey etc.) They look fantastic and really add life to our products. I should just pretend its me in the pictures but it’s not! Ola, our Fizbag model has long legs and a lovely face and is 100 years younger than me and managed to look like she wasn’t freezing. ACID Members Fizbag sell a great range of stylish shopping bags including the “Fizbag” which is a reusable shopping bag which folds away into a pouch. They have a UK trade mark for Fizbag and have also developed goodwill in that name having promoted the product nationwide which was also featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine. They also operate from the domain Fizbag.com Fizbag were disappointed and distressed to discover that a former customer had registered two domain names, Fizbag.co.uk and Fizbag.eu and were selling a range of products which included reusable bags. Our Italian distributors were busy taking orders. Fizbags are brand new to the Italian market and are going to be really popular.
