They look as if they fold up small. What’s the size when it’s unpacked?
The Fizbag measures 19” by 19” excluding the handles and folds neatly into the compact holding pouch measuring approximately 4.5” by 2.5”; the size of a mobile phone!
Are they hard to put back into the pouch after I've used them?
No, it is very quick and easy. The Fizbag has built in memory creases allowing you to pop it back in the pouch with very little effort.
Can my Fizbag go on a keyring?
Yes, the compact pouch has a specially designed clip attached to it enabling it to easily attach to a key ring.
Where do I keep my pouch when my Fizbag is in use?
Our Fizbags are especially designed for practicality. There is a small loop attached to the interior of the bag in order to attach the clip when the actual bag is in use, meaning your pouch is kept safe when the Fizbag is in use!
I need a bag that can cope with the weekly shop. How much does each Fizbag hold?
The Fizbag holds approximately 22lbs in weight and holds around 1/3 more than the average plastic bag.
How many Fizbag’s do you recommend is needed for an average weekly shop?
We are a growing family of 4 and I use 4 for my weekly shopping.
How much does my Fizbag weigh when inside the pouch?
The Fizbag weighs a feather-like 1.5oz inside the pouch! Making it an easy essential to carry around with you for all those unplanned purchases!
I use my Fizbag all the time. How do I keep it looking new?
Simply machine wash cold and hang to dry.
What is Fizbag made out of?
The Fizbag is made out of 100% quality weaved polyester fabric. Enabling us to design stylish prints as well as considering practicality.
Why did you choose not to use a biodegradable material?
Despite our best efforts it was simply not possible to successfully design such a compact, durable and strong Fizbag using biodegradable materials. They are simply too bulky! The very nature of biodegradable material is that it does just that; biodegrade. We wanted a design with a long life span which represented convenience, style and durability.
Does Fizbag have a recycling program for expired bags?
We take our responsibility towards recycling extremely seriously and we want you to feel good about supporting us. Expired Fizbags can be successfully made into doormats, dog beds and other polyester based products.
Fizbag owners can even recycle them at home by using them as craft tabards to protect the children’s’ clothing! They can be donated to local schools for craft projects, or again used for sport and craft tabards. How creative can you be with your expired FizBag?
Where are Fizbag’s made?
Fizbag’s are made in China with consideration to fair labour, fair trade and fair wage Fizbag policies. This allows us to make adopting a usable bag habit affordable for the majority of people in the UK. Through our friendships and interaction, we believe Fizbag’s are making a positive social and environmental impact in Asia.
If the Fizbag is made in China, how do Fizbag limit their carbon footprint?
We are lucky that our Fizbag’s are in big demand! We ship the maximum we can to the UK at one time, enabling us to use the shipping process as efficiently as possible. Using the shipment method also means we are using one of the lowest levels of carbon emissions per tonne kilometre (approximately 7 gms of CO2/tones/km). We do not advocate air freight as the environmental cost is significantly higher at 800 gms of CO2/tonne/kilometre.
